Miss Jocelyn George
Miss Jocelyn George, Second Grade teacher, just recently moved to the Arlington Diocese from Dallas, Texas. Miss George was born and raised in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, but move to Dallas, Texas with her family in July 2013. She soon earned her B.A. in Theology from the University of Dallas in May 2018. During her time as an undergraduate student, she volunteered as a teacher in her local parish’s CCD program and worked as a Student Aide in her university’s Campus Ministry office. This year, being her first year teaching at St. Rita’s, Miss George looks forward to getting to know her students and sharing with them her love of the Church and sacraments, especially Holy Eucharist and Reconciliation. Some of her hobbies include reading, writing, knitting, cooking, traveling and watching (or re-watching) the latest Marvel movie! She is excited for all of the experiences this year has to offer at St. Rita School, and is just as eager to teach the second graders as she is to learn from them!
