Miss. Christine Hanley
Miss Christine Hanley – 7th Grade Teacher, holds a Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of Connecticut, and a Masters of Arts in Teaching from Sacred Heart University. The oldest of six children, she grew up as an unofficial life-long teacher, which ultimately inspired her to pursue education as a career; she has been teaching in various official capacities since 2016. Miss Hanley is lucky enough to speak German fluently (thanks, Mom!), and greatly enjoys reading, creative writing, singing, painting, and indulging in foods that are less than healthy for her. Most of all, though, she finds happiness in fostering joy for learning in her students, and in being able to do so through the most-important lens of her Catholic Faith. Miss Hanley is excited to join the St. Rita community, and asks that you pray for her as she begins this new journey – just as she will be praying for you!
