Miss Jennie Dhanagom
Miss Jennie Dhanagom, Network Admin/K-8 Tech Teacher/5th Grade Religion, grew up in Los Angeles, CA and Cheverly, MD. Technology has been a constant part of her life, as has her Catholic faith. With a Catholic mother and a Buddhist father, Miss Dhanagom has gathered a lifetime of experience both contemplating and communicating the truth of the Catholic Faith.
In order to attend a Catholic high school and college, Miss Dhanagom spent afternoons, weekends, and summers juggling multiple jobs in fields such as: customer service, childcare, accounting, maintenance, culinary arts, office administration, and of course IT.
After graduating from Christendom College with a B.A. in Philosophy, she taught English for a year in Fukui-shi, Fukui-ken, Japan to children ages 6 months to 18 years. She enjoyed these life experiences, as they never failed to show God’s presence in her life.
On her way back to the United States, Miss Dhanagom fulfilled a life-long dream of circumnavigating the world while visiting friends and family along the way. She worked at a wonderful Catholic school in Maryland before coming to St. Rita’s.
Miss Dhanagom enjoys discussions–both deep and fanciful–as well as travelling, reading, drawing, writing, and listening to music.
